THE MISSION
Research from the Black Dog Institute has revealed mental ill health starts at a young age. About 75% of common mental health problems emerge before the age of 25 years, making these years critical for early intervention.
To raise over $50,000 for the Black Dog Institute, supporting youth mental health education, workshops, and suicide prevention programs.
WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
The charity funds raised go directly toward impactful initiatives that support adolescent mental health. A donation of $50 can help connect a teenager at risk of suicide with a psychologist or counsellor, providing urgent support when it's needed most.
With $750, researchers can visit regional schools to work directly with students an essential effort to improve access to mental health resources in high-risk communities.
A contribution of $1,000 funds interviews with teachers to develop practical tools that help them identify students in distress early on.
At the $5,000 level, donations support advocacy efforts by delivering research insights to policymakers, driving change through evidence-informed mental health policies.
